As a librarian in this burgeoning IB World School, I taught stand-alone information literacy classes to students in grades 5-10 to develop their research fluency. I worked to expand the Middle Years Program collection and develop the Diploma Program collection in the library. My work on the Extended Essay for DP authorization received commendation from the IB.

As an information specialist in this large school library, I was responsible for all levels of library administration and management. In collaboration with classroom teachers, I taught a comprehensive and engaging research curriculum for students in grades 6-8. I also worked with students in grades 9-12 to deepen their research practices in preparation for college. I continually sought grant funding to increase the resources available for students and created a makerspace that fostered connected learning opportunities through a variety of grant opportunities. I served on several school and district committees related to long-range strategic planning.
